Japanese pianist Yuri Inoshita and Indian violinist Samyuktha Rajagopal formed Duo Kaira in October, 2023, and since then have given concerts and participated in several masterclasses.
Samyuktha Rajagopal performs both Western classical and South Indian classical violin. She studied at the International Menuhin Music Academy in Switzerland and is currently working on her Masters’ degree at Trinity Laban Conservatoire with Lana Trotvsek, a distinguished violinist from Slovenia.
Yuri Inoshita is a postgraduate student at Trinity Laban Conservatoire. As a soloist, she regularly performs at venues including the Old Royal Naval College Chapel. She is also a collaborative pianist winning several prizes at international competitions including First Prize at the World’s Best Musicians Competition 2024.
